I'm like that girl in movies with the kiddie pool, a book, some lemonade and a snack. I've on been to the beach once and didn't even swim! I really have no opinion on the beach. Except that it looks prettier NOT covered in oil (BP).
Would you rather swim in a pool or the ocean?

i'd give my life for you - lea salonga
I'm notorious for girl crushes.
I'm heterosexual, but some chicks I would
just marry and adopt unfortunate
little children with.
I can't even begin to express my profound
respect and adoration for Lea Salonga.
She's my absolute favorite Eponine in Les Mis,
it was her "On My Own" that turned me into the
Musical Theatre Monster I am today.
I owe a lot to this lady for simply singing a song.

There Once Was A Pirate
There once was a pirateWho put out to seaHis mates all around himNo maiden on his kneeOh, sail for a littleA little little litteOh, sail for a little'Til she finds himThere once was a maidenWho wandered the meadTo gather blue violetsHer mama would needA wail through the willowsAll hollow through the willowsShe'll wail through the willows'Til she finds himThe sea was so violentThe crew went belowThey begged him to join themBut he would not goOh, sail a little littleFor just a little littleOh, sail for a little'Til she finds himHer heart was so ladenShe fell by a treeSang of some pirateWho haunted the seaA wail through the willowsAll hollow through the willowsShe'll wail through the willows'Til she finds himx Steven Sater

Sister of Ben Moss (if you're a Spring Awakening fan).
She's a /fantastic/ singer, hilarious blog writer (www.girlgoeseast.com), and all around lovely person.
As one of my favorite people on Twitter (@thecarolineann), I feel a little more than obligated to shameless promote anything she does. <3

Youth & Wisdom.
Watched a Doors documentary last night on PBS. Now I can't stop thinking about Jim Morrison. I think that by the end of the 60's, things just got too "groovy" to the point where it wasn't cool, peaceful, or beautiful anymore. All that was left were empty people, apart of a generation who could have really continued to do something special in this country, but ruined progress with their search for trend enlightenment.x Daniel Wilson.

`` Dear Glee
Tuesday, May 11, 2010
Dear Glee,
I'm writing to you in response
to the episode that aired tonight.
I believe it was called "Laryngitis".
As a fan of the show, I am always very
excited for Glee to premiere. I even do
this obnoxious thing on my Twitter where
I bitch and moan about how it isn't 9 o'clock.
I was, like many people, particularly excited
for this episode because, well, Rachel lost her
voice. I love Lea Michele as much as the next
person, but even I need a break from Ms. Berry.
I am thrilled to say that, without Rachel at the
pinnacle, the episode still managed to pull through.
With Kurt carrying the episode and Mercedes giving a
a nice, solid supporting role -- I find that the show
doesn't always needs it's leading diva in every scene.
So, kudos to you Glee,
for giving the under, under dogs
a chance to shine.
Love, Ahlon.

`` Dear World

Dear World,
My name is Ahlon.
Pronounced "Uh. Lon."
If I knew what it meant,
I'd tell you. But I don't.
This is my blog.
I don't know what this is
going to be about quite yet,
or if it's even about anything.
All I know, is that I'm going to
actually do something with it.
Maybe something good.
(Maybe not).
(Probably not).
I'm on Twitter.
You should follow me --->

I don't see why not.
You're already reading this thing.
So, doesn't that mean you're interested
in what I have to say?
Be warned:
I say a lot.
